For Employees & Migrant Workers
* Which categories of workers are eligible to enroll under the PBB Scheme?
All salaried employees and migrant workers engaged by employers with valid work visas in both ECR and Non-ECR countries are eligible under this scheme.
* What is the minimum and maximum policy period for employees?
The policy is valid for 3 years and is renewable every 3 years.
* How much is the premium for employees?
₹590/- for 3 years.

In Case of Death:
* Is Pravasandhra Bharosa Bima applicable to natural death?
No. It is applicable only for accidental death cases.
* How much amount will be paid if an insured person dies due to an accident?
₹10,00,000/- (Ten Lakh Rupees) will be paid to the nominee in case of accidental death.
* What documents are required to claim the insured amount?
Duly completed claim form (self-attested by the nominee)

• Death Certificate issued by the competent local authority / Indian Embassy
• Post-mortem Certificate

* Is there any provision to bring back the dead body of the insured person to India? How much amount will be reimbursed?
Yes. Repatriation of the dead body along with one attendant (if needed) is covered. One-way economy-class airfare to the nearest airport in India will be reimbursed for the attendant.

• Duly completed claim form
• Passport (Front & Back pages)
• Visa Copy
• Airline tickets and medical advice (if attendant is needed)
• Certificate from competent medical authority confirming major ailments during the employment period
• Proof of service contract termination due to insured perils

* Is there any provision to bring back a person with total permanent disability to India?
Yes. The insured person with total permanent disability and one attendant are eligible for repatriation to the nearest airport in India. One-way economy-class airfare will be reimbursed for both.

If Injured:
* Is there any support for insured persons injured in an accident?
Yes. For accidental injuries or illness, up to ₹1,00,000/- will be reimbursed towards medical expenses.

Family Benefits:

The insured’s spouse and up to two dependent children are eligible for ₹50,000/- per year towards hospitalization expenses during the policy period.
Legal Assistance:
* Is legal assistance covered under the PBB Scheme?What are the services available to the beneficiary?
Yes. Up to ₹45,000/- will be paid towards legal expenses related to employment disputes abroad.

• Proof of Foreign Study: Visa / University Authorization Letter / Offer Letter / Education Proof
• Address Proof of Andhra Pradesh (if different from the passport address)
* Is there any support for students injured in an accident?
Yes. For accidental injuries, up to ₹1,00,000/- will be reimbursed towards medical expenses.
